The British boxer prepares to battle the American YouTuber in an eight round match which will be broadcast live on Netflix.
British boxer Joshua stated he will "overwhelm entirely" Jake Paul and "break" his opponent as the combatants came face-to-face to promote the upcoming bout.
Ex two time world boxing king Joshua meets social media star turned fighter Paul - in what is, on paper, a mammoth uneven pairing - at Miami Kaseya Center on December 19th.
Boxer's Attitude
"I will break his face and break his body up. My goal is to show my superiority," the British boxer, 35 years old, declared.
"I will dominate him completely. That's how fighters think.
"I intend to genuinely try to injure him. That's my goal."
Civil Exchange
Despite those words, a composed Anthony Joshua and internet personality Paul - normally recognized for his dramatics - exchanged pleasantries and remained civil with each other.
Jake Paul instead criticized ex Joshua's opponent Francis Ngannou and described him as "ridiculous" after Ngannou declined a match opportunity.
Targeting Tyson Fury
Joshua, in the meantime, took aim at British opponent Tyson Fury - and declined a £1m bet 'The Gypsy King' claims he will make on a Paul win.
"Jake Paul is superior to Tyson Fury - he's present here," the boxer stated.
"I acknowledge that."
Serious Opponent
In spite of saying he intends to punish Paul, Joshua refused to talk badly about his opponent's pugilistic talent.
"Jake Paul is a credible opponent," he stated.
Paul's Background
Jake Paul - who initially became famous on the television network - has primarily fought mixed martial artists or faded names since turning professional.
He lost to Briton Tommy Fury in last year.
Financial Attraction
However, the inexperienced fighter remains one of boxing's largest commercial attractions, regularly earning huge earnings.
Forecast and Confidence
The 28 year old anticipated a KO victory in the fourth or fifth round and asserted he would stop the highly-expected match between Joshua and Fury, which is allegedly being planned for two years from now.
"It's going to be me versus Tyson Fury next year," Paul declared.
Physical Disparity
As the two fighters participated in the customary face-off, with their height and weight contrast on show, it drove home just how surprising this whole event is - and how remarkable it is that the match is truly happening.
