Dan Burn A constant threat at set pieces, per usual, perhaps is another option for his teammate at the back as opposed to paired with him. A careless distribution later in the match almost led to an opener from the visitors. 6/10

The young full-back A further composed display from the youngster after his debut versus Serbia. Saka was unable to take full advantage of a gorgeous touch behind the opposing backline. The left-back spot looks secure so soon. Seven

The newcomer A debut start for his country. Slightly sloppy in possession however his inswinging deliveries were a threat. An effective pace-controller available to the coach to have versus sides that sit back. Shown a yellow for a poorly timed tackle. Six

Declan Rice Crosses from corners and free kicks caused problems. Had license to drift down the left flank only to be offside upon receiving in front of goal. Awarded a deserved rest on the hour mark. Six

The star midfielder Operated in a forward role down the right and also put in the hard yards. Showed flashes of quality but dragged a shot high. Replaced late on by Rogers, his rival, following a yellow card. Seven

Jarrod Bowen Had the team's clearest opportunity in the opening period, his shot smartly stopped by the Albanian keeper. As a teammate holding position, he was forced to offer an outlet down the right side but his crosses from wide areas were inconsistent. Replaced for the final quarter-hour. Six

Harry Kane The difference-maker scoring two more strikes in an England shirt. The opener a typical poacher’s finish and the second an excellent finish with his head following a clever run from his marker. Aged 32, his form is unwavering and the side have every chance in future competitions when he's in the team. 8

The attacker Had difficulty to influence play on the left flank. Was presented with a good opening when set up by the midfielder however the keeper made the save. His replacement made much more of influence in his place. 5
